Herm... so you can only adjust the baseline AFR.

What about the RPM ranges?

Low end?
Mid-range?
High end?
WOT?
Steady throttle?
Light throttle?

All of these have different fuel requirements - according to this "mod" you're just adjusting a baseline.

For the time and effort put into doing this and remaining "half-assed" I'd rather kick up the couple hundo and do it right.

Sometimes you just don't want to "skimp"

scooter,

I researched and even tried checking the ecu harness connections for voltage or ground.

Bottom line the ecu is considerably different from the Warrior/FJR.

I still believe it is possible, but the technical secrets are not known.

I wonder if it is as effective on a engine with 02 sensor, since the ecu should be adjusting things real time based on pressure, temp, 02 ....

That was my thoughts also, but has been about 400 mi since exhaust mods and little has changed. Maybe my ECU is a slow learner???

Still getting backfiring on decell ............ I'm of the opinion a fuel mgmt system is about the only fix.

Not thrilled about experimenting with OE ECU. One crossed pin may send a voltage spike somewhere it wasn't meant to be & everthing is FUBOR! :kboom:
