Well, I want to invite everyone to share with me what they have found to be the solution to a major problem I have with my Raider.
When I ride this bike with the Boulevard windshield (that's the itty bitty shield that Star makes for this bike just in case you don't know what I mean) at speeds over 45 I begin to have such a buffetting that I find I must seek out the perfect windshield.

The problem with the Raider is that it wants to go fast.

The problem with my neck is that it hurts.

Can anyone share knowledge of a windshield that is at least 20" or taller and wide enough to knock down the air so I can ride with an open face helmet and enjoy it at speeds of 60 and above?

Thanks much,

Hey Ken -

National Cycle's Switchblade 2-Up shield is between 18.5" and 20" depending on the mounting height on the forks. It's a more classically styled shield with the chrome metal reinforcements across the bottom.

Memphis Shades Big Shot is 20" high also. Much more sporty style, smooth design. Had one on the Mean Streak

I have the Yamaha tall and have no problem with it riding 80+.
I did start out with mini and didn't like it much so had return it in exchange for the tall version.
