i bought a bunch of l.e.d's and was going to route them threw out the bike but cant seem to figure out how to get the tank off! the owners manual says let a quilified yamaha machinc do the air filter change so there must be some kinda trick to it if anyone can help me out please let me know

thanx nj i got it off beware its not for the faint of heart, i figured out the hard way that you want to be on reserve efore you do it so the tank is empty(gas everywhere :becca:)

AO if you look under the bracket that latches the seat down there is a junction in both fuel lines, take the rubber cap off I think it takes a flat head screwdriver close the valves and disconnect the hoses. No gas everywhere, good luck.

oh i thought that was for a presser gauge or something thanks man thatll save the trouble of trying to catch it all in a gas can next time ;D
