Hooray, I finally got my Quick Release Backrest Base. Installed everything in about 15 minutes. And another 10 minutes looking for the key. Instead of putting it in the nice envelope that holds all the bolts, they taped it to the bubble wrap. Looks great, I think I will just leave it on. It complements the lines of the bike.

Yes me too. Dealer just called and they've got my back rest padding, I'll pick it up Saturday. Rick, they send me a service manual for free. they actually over night that to me.

I shouldn't have any problem to do the 600 myself.
I am going to look into it to see if I can scan all the pages and make PDF file out of it and posted for every one.
I'll see if time permits.

I am picking up my Backrest tonight
I was going to have the dealer install on Sat when they do the 600 check-up
they said about 1 hours work about $100 labor I said forget that.
An hour four bolts Huh!!
I put it on tonight is raining in here in Pa can work on the bike.
be ready to roll when it drys up.
Told my wife it was her Mothers day present she said at least it something she can use LOL

I would be able so scan one if i could get ahold of one. At work we have a Xerox all in one that i used to scan my manual for my GSXR

They told me that mine that I ordered 2 months ago that the ship date could not be set. They said that they could not give me an ETA.

See the keys last week when we opened the box at the dealers to check it out.
So the save sometime LOL
