Has anyone but me put a car tire on a raider yet? I put a 225/40-18 HANKOOK radial K106 on my bike and have put about 2700 miles on it with no problems. I only got about 2200 miles out of my metz 210 and the new tire only cost me $91.27 out the door.

This is the most Ive ever seen written on the subject.:chat:
I think you guy's are full of Shiit...!!:thumbup2:
It's one thing to be an individual, it's another to put someone's life in danger because you want to be an individual. If it were just his ass on the roads no problem, but what if and it happens, he decides to drag his pegs one day and lays the bike over which causes one of us to lay ours down in the opposing lane, what then?

It's like the a$$hole who puts a half pallet of sheet rock in his 1/2 ton pick up and sags the whole back end suspension, because it will fit back there and two trips is inconvenient for him, he comes up on a bump and snaps the axle, ends up in the oncoming lane and kills a father and son on their way to the place the asshat just left.

He needs to buy a dirt bike or a dual purpose MC, if he likes the Raider so much than he can either stock up on tires or move the heck out of the mountains. I am surprised California doesn't have a law against this on the books!

They do, what do ya think the insurance cos think about it? Improper equipment. But have ya ever seen an insurance investagtor that knows the differance between a bike tire and a car tire.:yikes::cheers:
There are sooooo many darkside members of the Valk, VTX, GW on all of the Honda sites. It is particularly popular on the VTX and I rode my friends that had a CT on and other than getting used to it always wanting to be upright on the flat side, there was absolutely no difference in riding. The opinion of burning in fire and damnation if you ride a CT has been so overdone that it is ridiculous. The fact is, if you put one on one of the big bikes, and I don't consider the Raider to be a big [read heavy] bike, it works and has worked for a long long time.
i have 7,500 miles on my stock metz and still have life left. i drive somewhat agressively... but you must have driven that thing like a bat outta hell to only get 2200...lol

do you have pics of the car tire?
