I have a V&H 2-1. I'm thinking about welding it about 6" from the top of the rear cylinder pipe, but on the install guide it sais: "Positioning the weld bung in a location where multiple cylinders collect is the preferred location". So that makes me wonder if I should weld it where the pipes...

I just got my xmas gift to myself some new grips and had a little difficulty installing the throttle side. Clutch side is good to go. I took the 2 screws out to open the ignition housing so I could get to the throttle cable and remove the old grip. the back side of the housing opened easily...
