    Default Strange tire wear

Noticing a bad flat spot on my rear tire about 2-2.5” left of center on the tread.. is this a problem anyone’s heard of/encountered and if so what causes this and what can I do to prevent it when I get a new tire?

I had experienced this early on with different brand tires and I’ve discovered that if I am extremely diligent with the air pressure maybe even a pound or two over the recommendation it helps a lot. I do a lot of backcountry twisties but if you spend most your time on the straight long range highway driving you may not be able to totally eliminate this.
