    Default Changing rear rotors

    Hey all,

I have a 2012 Yamaha raider that needs a new rotor on the back. Just curious if anyone knew the step-by-step process to get the rotor off.

    Thanks

You remove the rear tire from the bike and lay it on the pulley side, you’ll see the 6 round-head Allen socket bolts that hold the heat shield and rotor in place. Remove those 6 bolts and the rotor and heat shield come right off. You may have to tap underneath the rotor with a block of wood to loosen it, but that’s it.
