    Default Fuel Management Systems

I have been looking at fuel management systems trying to reserch the best unit ect. I'm more confused now than when I started. My plan is Vance & Hines 2into 1 big radius pipes Patrick Racing BAC but at a loss on FM systems. V&H fuel pac, PCV, all seem to have pros & cons. from your real world experience let me hear your experiences with each or other systems.
    Thanks,
    Charlie

I hope you're better at making heads or tails out of this chart than I am but here is the results of my bike on a dynojet.

I have the V&H Big Radius, a PCV and Avon Cobra 240 tire.

I get some back firing if I'm really letting up fast on the throttle after getting on it. Other than that, it seems great.

I don't have any experience with any others so I can't really tell you if mine is any better than other systems.

The new system called the fi2000 power pro I believe, seems to be the best choice from what I'm hearing, because it uses the stock O2 sensor to get feedback. Guys who had backfiring problems are saying this system eliminates them. Make sure you get brand new stock though - there were small problems with the first batch from what I hear. I believe the price has come down too - somewhere around 475$.

I love my Cobra PowerPro...no MAPs/computers to deal with...just ride!!! It is more money but I am willing to pay more to have zero headaches ;) You won't be disappointed.

    Default Thanks,

Thanks for the input, the Cobra Power Pro is what seemed to be the best deal to me too. Yes, it is more expensive but in order to get the same thing in Power Commander V you have to also buy the auto tune module that brings the price up to the same or more than Cobra and is not available with the Fuel pack. It was good to hear that it fixes the popping on deceleration, that seems to be a major problem with raiders and I've heard of it in other big Yamaha V2s.
    Thanks Again,
    Charlie

You also have to figure in the cost of re-tapping the bung for the new O2 sensor when you add the auto-tune unit. The tap is an odd sze, and will set you back 50$ or so. I am planning on taking the heads etc off this winter, and having Patrick racing go nuts with them. I plan to replace my PC V with the power pro at that time (that is, if I don't put a turbo on the ZX 14 instead LOL) - so many ideas - so little money!

Default G-Man industries BULLY FI controller

I installed a G-man Bully controller on my 08 Raider. I cut 10" off my stock mufflers and powdercoated the mufflers and all heat shields...black. I am happy with the Bully. I got the handlebar mount for it....it is completely adjustable...or you can leave it alone....it automatically adjusts. I did have to disconnect the wiring for the O2 sensor. So far I have no problems with it....my bike is running better than ever...never pops. They send detailed info on how to adjust also. I got the Bully controller and bar mount with shipping for 320.00...that's much better than 475.00 for the Cobra.

I have Cobra Power pro tuner on my 2012 and put K&N filter and go on dyno, the result is : 124.8 of torque and 89.42 HP.

My exhaust are stock and I have my 0 sensor. The sound has changed with my

new filter and today I have lifted the cover of my filter and put some piece to keep the filter in place. The sound has changed again,

more stronger in sound and butt dyno too. I had a VTX 1800 C just before with a power commander but when you change something

on the bike you must return on the dyno for tune again. Instead the Power Pro Tuner from Cobra, it adjust itself what you change on

your bike. For me thats the best to have it. My next mod will be Patrick Racing Big Air Kit
