A current series on motorbike brands and their respective Histories. This is on 121 - Discovery.
They covered Honda, Ducati and Kawasaki so far. There are some facinating facts (World champs and their macnificent feats and struggles, for instance) I believe those new to biking will enjoy and then it is much less "gomgatterig" than Sons of anarchy.
Honda: I always knew I had them to thank for kickstarting my biking dreams with the CB750 of the 70's. I also believed that if it was not for them my first bikes could have been Norton's or Triumphs with heavy oil leaks, startup seldomly successfull, drum brakes, Teeth shatterring vibration etc.
Most Interesting: Whilst they could do nothing to my mother's attitude at the time, did you know they allmost single handedly changed the American perception that all bikers were Gomgatte (on Harley's). This was largely due to the Cub (largest mb production run of all time)
Which brand and model is the 2nd largest/longest production run ever?
