    Default Integrated tail light/turn signal

So I was looking through this site and saw the exact light I'd like to get. They sell it at Performance Edge. Well, that has got to be THE worst web site I've ever come across!! How can they do any business with a web site like that?? You can't find anything, there is no search box...it's crazy. So, does anyone know where else you can get that same tail light? Thanks in advance!

I'm not trying to talk you out of the company/light you are looking for. Just giving you another option.

    CustomLED http://www.customled.com/products/in...008_raider.htm

A lot of us have them and I know I like mine.

Thank you! I like that a lot too! Is it easy to install? Do you have to change any wires or anything? I did see this before and it looked you had to buy a microprocessor or something. ??

Many of the guys installed their own. I took mine to the dealership after a failed attempt. There is equalizer that needs to be installed, otherwise your rate of flash on your directionals will not be proper.

Let me see if I can find one of the threads that was one of the most helpful to me.

LOL - thanks! I won't be able to install it but I do have friends Do you have a link to the equalizer? I'm trying to figure out total cost of all this! I really do appreciate the help and advice!

(edit) I see this: Recommended accessories: ELFR-1 QD Flasher Relay OR Stage II Load Equalizers, & Blaster-X Control Switch.

Of these 3, which is recommended?

i installed mine and yes it is a plug and play no wire changes and the only thing you would need is the flasher relay but only if you want the blinkers to flash normal lol i like mine flashing fast so i didnt get it . they will also tell you that you need to get a swtch from them " the switch is just to ground the light for programing " i used one that i had on hand . just as a side note i love the light im so glad i got it . you can look in bike mods i did post a thred about my install . hope this helps

I installed this light and I didn't use anything but the light, it blinks a little fast, but since I got rid of the front lollipops I expected a faster blink rate anyway. It doesn't bother me at all. I may eventually get the fancy little doo-dad to correct it. It's almost a plug n play unit though, a few bolts to take off but ultimately pretty easy, I did have to do some wiring though so... but that was easy with the included documentation.

ELFR is the one I have. I don't know if it's any better or worse than another.

I didn't bother with the selection switch for the various flash patterns. That stuff doesn't really do anything for me.

quick tip ... I don't know if you have a dual seat or not.
if you have a dual seat and you also have the lowering kit on the rear suspension,
it is possible for the integrated tail light fixture to rub on the rear tire when you are
riding two-up (esp. if you have a 240 tire on the rear). Just be aware of this.
It probably depends on the specific tail light fixture that you've got.
talk to "luvmy68" for more details.

I ended up returning the relay since I like the fast blinker and the way it flashes when you hit the brakes!!
