The Raider is an excellent cruiser in every way. Be careful to keep it inside its' performance envelope till you know what it can and cannot do. It's acceleration is much better than standard cruisers, but although its brakes and handling are excellent, you can get yourself into spots where they are not excellent enough for the power the bike can produce - if you follow my drift. Take your time, get used to it and then ENJOY! It's an awesome ride!! I absolutely LOVE mine!

Reset your tripometer at each fill-up. When you're up around 125 to 130 miles, know where your local gas stations are located.

understand that the engine oil and trans lube is the same and the transfer case is seperate, the primary chain is on the right side (footbrake side) which is housed in the transfer case,if you have ever owned and serviced a harley this could be confusing as it was with me,theres a video on here that explains all this if you do your own service
