Default WANTED - your exhaust sounds clips

It's been suggested (Hat tip to Eian) that we should start compiling sound clips of exhaust, which would really help when in comes to shopping for pipes, so you don't have to search through every thread trying to find the right clip/vid.

    Here's what we'll do -

If you've already posted a clip here in the forum, email me the link to the thread where it is and I'll grab it. If you have a clip elsewhere, email it to me as well. luke@raiderperformance.com

Since we already have reviews of a lot of the pipes on our Aftermarket page, I'll add the clips to the discussion of each pipe. Depending on how that looks online, I might just set up a separate clips page, maybe with a photo of the pipe and the sounds.

Let's get all different possibilities too - baffles in and out, etc....

I was going to do a recording of mine, but here's a link from another thread. It's exactly what I have and once you hear it you'll understand why I wanted the HK 2-into-1 sideburners. This is the greatest sound in the world!

Here's a clip of my LA Choppers:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQKtZfXL9kE"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQKtZfXL9kE[/ame]

I'll be shooting a better/longer video soon, but this gives an idea. Sound quality is good and fairly accurate, volume is louder than the video leads one to believe!

No current plans to hit the dyno soon....but that could always change! As the weather gets nicer I'll be more and more tempted, plus, I'm startin to work on convincing my buddy to dyno me for free, or at least severely discounted, and if I get him to say ok, then yes, Dyno-tuning will commence!

    Default Aftermarket Exhaust

Any recommendations on the best sounding exhast? Looking for a deep rumble instead of a high tinny sound. Also, is the 2 into 1 going to be lower pitched than the 2 into 2's? Checking out the V & H Big Radius 2 into 1.

Love the lines of the swepts, but you can't beat Sideburners sound and 2-1 Performance!

    Default Rumble

Got the standard Yamaha shotguns, then removed the cones. Not much difference at all.
Then took the lungs right out and replaced them with standard tubing, about 2.5 mm wall thickness the same length as the baffles. This is a deep elephant like rumble. They say the shotguns give another Kw or so. The bike itself seems to be light on fuel compared to the guys I ride with. 280 Km/16lt

This weekend after much deliberation I put on the Cobra Dragsters. Gotta say, I love em. I kind of wish they were a slightly deeper tone, but I think I'm good with em. The only reason I even thought of that was because my buddy has a harley and he just got the sideshots and they sound a bit deeper.
The sound quality isn't the best, but hopefully you'll get an idea.

    Default Freedom Sharp Curve

Anybody in Kansas with the FP sharp curve radius on their Raider? I'd love to see / hear it in person. Give me a shout.

I put the V/H two into one on my Raider S about 1500mil.ago.Can't beat the sound, and I looked around a lot.Put an ear to about 6 or 7 Raiders that had after market pips.I also went with a K&N high flow air filter, and the FI2000 fuel processor. The power and sound is "more-more better"
