Just wrapped up two weeks on the road, one more day off and back to the grind. Left Portland for Bellingham the first week, then accross to Leavenworth Wash, and down to Joseph Oregon. One of the best cycling roads I've ever been on is hwy 3 from Lewiston Idaho to Enterprise Oregon, 87 miles of some of the best twisties known to man. Since I was here last we have had a bit of sadness -- our son died unexpectedly on Nov 14, 2011. He was 53. But the silly trike still goes on and on. I blew a seal on one of the air shocks that came with the Danson, I had to replace the offending one with a fresh one. Unfortunately they only come in pairs, so now I have a perfectly good takeoff and a leaker. I haven't taken the time to see which is which. I just realized that another year has gone by. The trike has provided a lot of interaction in parking lots, etc. The typical is "I've never seen one of those close up" or words to that effect. I showed it at a Classic Car / Hot Rod show on Labor Day. The organizers didn't get the turnout they hoped for with real things, so they let the billboard become an entrant.
