I took my levers and polished them on a buffing wheel and then hit them with Mothers metal polish and I have to say they look great. To purchase chrome levers of corse would look even better but once again just take your stock levers and polish them out first before you go and purchase chome levers.

How often do you you have to do it to keep them looking good? And yeah can you get some pics?

That's my plan right now, too. Thanks for the input. I couldn't find any aftermarket chrome, but found a chromer who would chrome them both for $55. I think I'm going to just polish them for now. We'll see what happens in the future. Maybe Kury or Cobra will do some chrome versions. I have to admid I'm a bit disappointed with the chrome levers I have just put on the Shadow. The chrome is peeling already and it's been less than 6 months - Grrr!

Down below are pictures of the levers that I buffed out. As promised here are some pictures.

To keep them looking good I hit them from time to time with some Mothers polish.

They might not be chrome but for just putting a little work on them and without any cost, they look very good.

Thanks - I'm in the process of doing the same as you. I also hit the upper belt guard today and from the looks of it, it will shine up nearly as nice as chrome. I was contemplating painting it Tommy Blue, but I think the chrome look will be better - at least for now.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before............I wonder if they could be anodized blue to match the paint? Now that would addd a custom look. Anyone know anything about anodizing?

Does any one make some reasonable aftermarket levers yet?

These guys are going to have more and more parts coming out for the Raider in teh future. I talked with Reza (one of the two owners) for about 1/2 hour this morning and he's planning on introducing both chrome levers and chrome switch housings. They should be available soon.

Their company is pretty impressive to me. Maybe it will be for you, too.

Looks great - I did the same thing and my buddy who owns English Body Works here in Richmond clear coated them for me and now I don't have to polish them just clean and buff...
