You have IMPECCABLE timing! I posted that avatar a couple of days ago. That is actually the ONLY piece of my bike's new paint that I've seen. The painter snapped that close up shot of the front few inches of the front fender. That's the little teaser he's sent me, and I pick up front and rear fenders after work tonight!!! I feel like a little kid waiting for christmas morning. Needless to say, NO work has gotten done yet this morning in the office.

I haven't posted any pictures yet because this transformation has been in the works since about march or april of this year...and lately I've been getting SOOOO close, that I decided not to post pictures of my first paint job I did in July; but am instead waiting for this paint to come back before I unveil. It's coming though... fenders tonight, tank and side pieces in a day or two!!

Here's hoping for something interesting posted in the morning...

p.s.- Hey Swomack, I was wondering if anyone would notice my lack of pictures before I finally got something up... I guess I have kinda taken my sweet a$$ time huh?

Thanks for the compliments, I see there is alot of great looking raiders out there. I just love this bike, put 7100 miles this year alone. Every trip I went on I also got an average of about 50 mpg. Man is that great or what!! I have the cobra slashdowns, cobra fi2000 o2, drilled 9 1/2 inch holes in air box, k&n filter,cobra backrest,national cycle shield, and after market lifetime reusable aluminum oil filter, from k&p engineering. Can't wait for next year, cause I have a few more ideas, just need more money. merry xmas.
